- Proven track record of a successful career in trade finance product operations within the banking industry.
- 6 to 10 years of experience in a similar capacity, showcasing your ability to handle complex trade finance operations and documentation review.
- International Norms and Product Knowledge: Strong familiarity with international norms and regulations, including Incoterms, UCP600, and ISP98.
- Comprehensive understanding of trade finance products, specifically commercial letters of credit, stand-by letters of credit, supply chain financing, and factoring.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing and motivating a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Project Management: Experience in successfully leading complex project implementations, ensuring adherence to project timelines and achieving desired outcomes.
- Education: MBA degree or equivalent qualification in finance, international business, or a related field is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) or Certified Trade Finance Professional (CTFP) would be an added advantage.
