Senior Key Account Manager for Mexico

EW Nutrition México is a dynamic and growing organization in the nutritional market with global headquarters in Visbek, Germany. EWN belongs to a family group with a strong passion and deep roots with animal protein producers. As EWN, we are particularly active in the monogastric market, with a portfolio of valuable additives involving Enzymes, Phytogenics, Immunoglobulins, and Mycotoxin binders, amongst others. Our passion is to generate sustainable, cost-efficient solutions to customers that will help Mexican producers to be more effective and profitable, while improving animal welfare and contributing to antimicrobial reduction.
Job Profile: EWN is currently looking for a Senior Key Account Manager who will play a crucial role in managing and nurturing relationships with current and prospective Mexican accounts. As a senior KAM, you will be responsible for building strong partnerships, maximizing customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a combination of sales expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to ensure the success and retention of key accounts.
Key Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop a National Strategy to select and develop Key Accounts in MX, understanding customer needs, addressing their concerns, adding value, and providing solutions.
- Build strong relationships with key customers, serving as their primary point of contact for all business-related matters.
- Develop and implement Strategic Account plans, throughout Mexico, to foster account growth and identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as technical, marketing, finance, product development, to ensure exceptional customer experience.
- Be an agent of change and open to continuous learning.
- Be comfortable in taking decisions and be accountable for success and mistakes in the process.
- Have a solid people network within key opinion leaders and renowned industry players.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to proactively identify potential threats and opportunities.
Key Account Manager Required Skills:
- Strong sales and account management skills, with a proven track record of successfully managing key accounts and achieving revenue targets.

- Good organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a passion to generate value at customer level and sustainable growth.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in veterinary school, nutrition, or related animal health science-based field. A master's degree will be a differential.
- Proven sales experience and key account management roles. Minimum experience in sales 5 years.
- Strong business acumen and financial understanding. Solid people network in the Avian and Swine markets.
- Availability to travel to meet customers on a regular basis. Time in the field estimated 2 to 3 weeks per month.
- Knowledge of the industry or market in which the company operates.
- Language: English and Spanish required.
