Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Public Area Attendant to join our team at The Westin Guadalajara. As a key member of our Housekeeping & Laundry department, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of public areas, including restrooms, showers, and common spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize public restrooms and showers, including sinks, toilets, and showers
  • Dust and polish surfaces, including furniture and fixtures
  • Empty trash and recyclables, and replace liners in receptacles
  • Restock supplies, including toilet paper, soap, and paper towels
  • Respond to guest requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and push/pull carts and equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
