Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at The Westin Guadalajara. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to guest requests and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Restock and maintain housekeeping carts with supplies and linens.
  • Enter guest rooms in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all amenities and supplies are replenished.
  • Make beds, change linens, and clean bathrooms to the highest standards.
  • Remove trash, dirty linens, and room service items from guest rooms.
  • Check that all appliances and furniture are in good working order and report any maintenance issues.
  • Perform floor care duties, including vacuuming and dusting, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
  • Provide exceptional service to guests, including welcoming and acknowledging them according to company standards.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces.
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods across an entire work shift.
  • Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
