Mexico City Team Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Reinsurance Intermediary Team Manager to join our Client Support Services (CSS) team based in Mexico City.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop client and reinsurer presentation materials and communications to resolve complex questions and secure agreements and payments.
- Analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other system tools to manage transactional processes in a regulatory compliant manner.
- Participate in team and department meetings to share opinions, ideas, knowledge, and solutions, and seek opportunities to increase understanding and input of services provided.
- Collect detailed information on accounting and claims processes for Request For Proposal (RFP) and sales opportunities to drive business growth.
- Handle the settlement of funds to and from clients in a timely manner to ensure all applicable contractual payment terms, warranties, and/or conditions are met.
- Coordinate and attend reinsurance audits/reviews with clients and reinsurers and review open claims and/or premium activity, reconciling records in order to facilitate the review/audit process to ensure process quality.
- Collaborate with peers on reinsurance developments to support discussion and develop a point of view.
- Participate in training sessions and provide input within the team and/or department for all aspects of reinsurance service processing to assist with troubleshooting and to help develop team resources.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
- Up to 4-5 years of professional experience in administrative activities, preferably in reinsurance (Treaty).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a high-performance team, with attention to detail in completing assigned tasks.
- Positive attitude, willingness to offer and execute ideas and solutions to enhance processes within a changing environment.
- Successful management of workload, able to manage expectations of all clients and stakeholders.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal, delivering clear and concise messages and promoting and enhancing the Guy Carpenter brand.
- Able to challenge appropriately, supporting business cases with facts and information.
- Strong ability to quickly assess and offer effective solutions to problems efficiently.
- Able to engage, influence, and negotiate with colleagues in a professional manner.
- Consistently deliver superior client service.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Previous financial experience and background desirable.
- Proven experience leading teams.
- Knowledge and experience in PowerBI would be valuable.
