Job Summary

Danfoss is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Credit Management Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our Global Services organization, you will be responsible for managing credit risk and collection of Accounts Receivable in Danfoss Group for North American customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Credit Risk: Assess credit risk and customer creditworthiness to make informed decisions about order releases and credit limits.
  • Lead Credit Team: Supervise and motivate a team of 5-7 members to achieve targets and high-performance standards.
  • Communicate with Customers: Effectively communicate with internal and external customers to ensure prompt and on-time payment of receivables and resolution of disputed open items.
  • Monitor Performance: Proactively manage day-to-day workload to ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.
  • Escalate and Support: Escalate and support query resolution in close cooperation with Cash Application and Customer Service.
  • Accurate Data: Maintain accurate credit data and collection files.
  • People Management: Participate in hiring process, secure onboarding of new employees, host monthly one-on-ones, and secure development of individual team members.
Requirements
  • Education: Education in field of economics and/or management (or similar) or relevant work experience.
  • Leadership Experience: Previous experience in supervision or leadership position for at least 2 years.
  • Language Skills: Min. C1 level of English; Portuguese language will be an advantage.
  • Organizational and Communication Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills in writing and in verbal communication with multiple stakeholders both internally & externally at various levels in an organization.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrate leadership by leading by example with a hands-on approach and detailed process understanding.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Effective evaluation and problem-solving skills based on input from the team and/or own provided insights.
  • Relationship Building: Strong at relationship building and stakeholder management based on a solution-oriented approach taking multiple aspects into consideration in decision making.
