ZF Friedrichshafen AG is a leading global automotive technology company looking for a skilled Business Process Expert to join its Shared Services team in Monterrey, NL. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless business operations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for running complex payroll processes, including weekly and special payroll calculations, as well as generating reports and distributing them to employees. Additionally, they will review earnings, deductions, and benefits calculations, ensure compliance with Mexican Federal and State laws, and maintain accurate time and attendance data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run calculation of weekly payroll process
  • Run calculation of special payroll processes (Christmas bonus, profit sharing, saving fund, etc)
  • Running of appropriate reports and distribution of the payroll to the employees
  • Review earnings, deductions, and benefits calculations
  • Ensure compliance with Mexican Federal and State laws regarding payroll
  • Make sure that time and attendance data and other payroll interfaces are correct
  • Ensuring all reporting deadlines are achieved and ZF accounting policies and practices adhered to
  • Calculate and prepare payroll taxes (SUA, State, Federal)

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Accounting, Administration or Finance Degree
  • 1-2 years Payroll process experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Knowledge of People Soft, SAP, and QAD system preferred
  • Strong Experience in Internal Controls
  • High legal and ethical standards
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities
