Job Description

**Role:** PMO Lead

**Career Band:** C1

**Description:**

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the complete project lifecycle, from planning to delivery, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project cash flow schedules. This role requires strong project management skills, including team management, risk mitigation, and quality control.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Collaborate with the offshore Delivery Manager/Program Manager to ensure delivery parameters align with account plans.
  • Ensure timely delivery to avoid penalty payouts and adhere to project cash flow schedules.
  • Contribute to increased client value and wallet share through deployment of domain experts, consultants, and architects.
  • Record and manage project issues and escalations as necessary.
  • Handle Change Request Process and identify, share, and escalate risks captured in status reports.
  • Ensure required infrastructure is in place for team members, including physical, hardware, software, and requirements.
  • Manage people processes, goal setting, feedback, career growth, and engagement.
  • Evolves risk mitigation and contingency plans and works with internal supervision/guidance to manage internal and external conflicts.
  • Understands metrics that need to be traced, establishes signoffs, initiates C-SAT, and acts on feedback.

**Knowledge:**

Must Have:

  • Understanding and appreciation of relevant technology or group of technologies.
  • Conceptual awareness of core project management techniques.
  • Understanding of estimation techniques, review mechanism, cost.
  • Well-versed in areas of quality management like quality planning, inspection, and control.
  • Understanding of Customer Engagement Models, Financial parameters, and Delivery & Ops parameters.

Preferred:

  • Business Domain understanding.
  • Understanding of the Industry & Competitive landscape.

**Experience:**

Must Have:

  • Experience managing multiple project modules as a project Lead.
  • Handling Teams.
  • Should have worked on proposals involving relevant areas of the project.
  • Process documentation for L1, L2, L3 & L4 processes.
  • Total relevant experience of 6+ years with at least 18 months in the role of a Lead.

Preferred:

  • Managed projects of reasonable size and complexity as a Project Manager or Lead.
