Job Summary

Celestica Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Director, Global Quality and Excellence to lead our quality management initiatives and drive business excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Performance Assessment: Assess quality performance to establish metrics, targets, and improvement strategies aligned to organizational and customer goals.
  • Quality Improvement Initiatives: Develop and execute quality improvement initiatives aligned to Total Quality at Celestica imperatives and targets.
  • Quality Protocol Development: Lead and support the development and deployment of effective and standardized quality protocols.
  • Employee Development and Engagement: Engage, support, and provide mentorship for effective execution and skills development of powerful protocols and tools such as 8D Methodology, Compliance Procedures, Change Control Board, FMEA, Manufacturing Quality Standards (MQS), and Flawless Launch Phase Gate Reviews.
  • Relationship Building: Engage and foster constructive relationships with site and global leaders and subject matter experts to enable a collaborative environment for successful execution of improvements and best practice sharing.
  • Compliance Readiness: Provide leadership and support for compliance readiness to various customer, regulatory standards, and certifications (i.e., ISO 9001, TL 9001, AS 9100, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ANSI/ESD, etc.).
  • Quality Management System: Responsible for the design, deployment, and support of Celestica's Quality Management System and related processes such as Customer Satisfaction Surveys, Monthly Operations Reviews, and Quality Excursion Reporting.
  • Leadership and Expertise: High level of competency in Total Quality at Celestica Initiatives, excellent knowledge of quality management systems and processes, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, and broad knowledge of an electronic manufacturing environment, materials, manufacturing, and business processes.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-resolution skills, ability to establish department goals, and coordinate a wide variety of resources to meet quality and quantity metrics.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Ability to evaluate, prioritize, and problem-solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion, communicate effectively with a wide variety of internal and external customers, and effectively lead, manage, train, and motivate a diverse group of employees to achieve high production within tight time deadlines.
Requirements
  • Experience: 11 to 14 years of experience in a related field.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
