Technical Support Specialist

Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Technical Support Engineer.
Key Responsibilities- Provide post-sales technical support to customers, including troubleshooting, investigating, and resolving technical problems that arise during and after product installation on a wide range of power protection and data center products.
- Accurately document service request activities and troubleshooting steps, ensuring seamless communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate product value proposition and product line strategies to customers, promoting a deep understanding of Eaton's offerings.
- Collaborate with the team to improve business processes and electronic tools, driving efficiency and productivity.
- Participate in special projects and teams to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction, leveraging expertise to drive results.
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding team metrics, demonstrating the ability to accomplish complex tasks utilizing a variety of resources.
- Leverage information to provide professional customer support, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
- Work rotational 8-hour shifts between the hours of 7:00am and 6:00pm US Central Time, maintaining a flexible schedule to meet business needs.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as electrical engineering or computer science.
- 1-3 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in the electronics or electrical components industry.
- Hands-on electrical wiring experience, working knowledge of test equipment (multimeter, ammeter, network sniffer, etc.), and proficiency in Linux operating systems.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in MS Applications and English written and spoken.
