About the Job

We are seeking a motivated Change Manager to join our team on an exciting project based in Derby. As a Change Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Configuration and Change Management (CCM) activities in a project, applying standard procedures, and contributing to the improvement of CCM activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the CCM activities in a project, ensuring compliance with customer and internal requirements.
  • Apply Configuration and Change standard procedures, instructions, and templates.
  • Contribute to the CCM REX and lead improvements of the CCM activities in your project.
  • Verify that the activities and responsibilities defined in the Configuration Management Plan have been applied and followed.
  • Evaluate and approve the compliance statement on all CCM related requirements.
  • Propose possible solutions to any CCM related issues.
  • Be accountable for any CCM Performance Indicators and derive and manage actions.
  • Manage a team of Configuration and Change Managers when applicable.
  • Perform Configuration Management activities, such as identification, management, and accuracy of items under configuration control.
  • Perform Change Management activities, such as ensuring that Change Requests are complete and accurate, monitoring Change Requests, and aligning with project stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience in the rail or engineering industry.
  • Detailed knowledge of Configuration and Change Management.
  • Detailed knowledge of Business Process Management, Project Management, Risk Management, and Requirements Management Supply.
  • Experience in the entire CCM lifestyle of a Project/Program.
  • Knowledge of CCM tools (ALM, Clear Quest, Clear Case SAP, PLM, AEC-tpPLM, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Systematic, proactive, and organized, with a good attention to detail.
  • Passionate about contributing to continuous improvement on processes and standards.

Additional Information

This position has the opportunity to work on site in the UK, with a location in Derby.
