As a key member of our manufacturing leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of multiple departments at one of our BU in Reynosa. Your primary objective will be to instill a culture of continuous improvement, drive long-term improvements in customer lead times and delivery, and ensure that appropriate levels of trained resources are available to meet production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish key performance indicators in alignment with department goals and maintain applicable metrics.
  • Support management in developing department budgets and execute plans throughout the fiscal year.
  • Ensure efficient resource allocation to meet production schedules.
  • Experience supporting and implementing Lean Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Utilize process improvement tools and methodologies to lead Lean Continuous Improvement projects.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of management.
  • Drive programs to reduce manufacturing cycle time and maximize inventory turns.
  • Establish and monitor process control parameters to achieve expected departmental performance.
  • Review equipment to ensure optimal utilization.
  • Develop or revise standard operational practices and lead workers to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain a positive employee relations environment.
  • Ensure safety practices are maintained within the department and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Perform administrative tasks necessary for effective department management.
  • Achieve efficiency in production and distribution by communicating job expectations to employees.
  • Prepare performance evaluations of direct reports and provide counseling on methods of improving performance.
  • Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
