We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Resolution Specialist to join our team at Danfoss. As an AP Resolution Specialist, you will play a critical role in resolving AP invoice mismatches, managing subledgers, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely and effective execution of tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Manage Accounts Payable subledger and actively review old/open un-resolved debit balances and items, making decisions to resolve/clear.
- Monitor and coordinate the resolution of GRIR OIM accounts.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Finance, and Outsource Partner stakeholders to make decisions or provide support to cleanse aged open items in ledger balances.
- Follow up with approvers on aged unapproved, rejected invoices to ensure timely execution of tasks.
- Review vendor reminders, check fines, and escalations received from/towards vendors.
- Track, monitor, and control overdues, ensuring timely payments to vendors.
- Support invoice/Credit notes booking related queries/corrections/reversals.
- Support contacting vendors to follow agreed processes in case of critical vendor statements and direct debit vendor processes.
- Handle generic mailboxes for support on incoming queries/escalations.
- Prepare and validate monthly reports and metrics.
- Bachelor's degree in BS Accountancy or Management Accounting.
- Sound knowledge of end-to-end processes and work experience 4-5 or more years in Accounts Payable/Payables Management.
- Accounting background and knowledge of general accounting principles, especially booking of AP invoices.
- Ability to drive, analyze, and implement process improvements.
- Pro-active approach, willingness to learn and share knowledge with others, readiness to participate in additional projects and tasks.
- Good oral and written English and Portuguese skills.
- Working experience in SAP Hana, preferable experience with VIM/Ariba.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with people across different organizations.
- Engaging personality with excellent listening, problem-solving skills, and decision-making.
