You will be involved in various aspects of the deal lifecycle, from thesis development to post-close support of operating companies, with specific responsibility for transaction underwriting and closing.
You will collaborate with business owners, brokers, and third parties, supporting all aspects of the underwriting, due diligence, deal negotiations, and deal execution.
The role will report to the Head of Mergers and Acquisitions and will work closely with the sourcing team.
The scope of this role extends beyond the tactical aspects of underwriting and diligence, requiring a strategic partner for the future of Solen's strategy.

- Support the creation of a diligence plan and assist in driving the end-to-end due diligence process.
- Create elite diligence supporting materials, including deal decks and financial models.

- Find opportunities to get a 360-degree view of the company through conversations with management, customers, competitors, industry experts, and other stakeholders.
- Get all necessary company financial and operational information to deeply understand how the business works, what the key levers for growth are, and assess trends and opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with third parties for key aspects of the diligence, including quality of earnings, technology, insurance, and legal.
- Work with other third parties to ensure a smooth deal execution process.
- Advanced Excel, data analysis, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience: 2+ years prior work experience in Mergers and Acquisitions.
- Understanding of all aspects of the deal-making process.
- Exceptional financial modeling and presentation development skills.
- Experience collaborating with third-party vendors, including accountants, advisors, and legal professionals.
- Comfortable interacting with founders, investors, bankers, and other intermediaries on all stages of the diligence process.
- Prior experience raising debt is a plus.
- Prior experience in investment banking or management consulting is a plus.
