Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team at Crane Worldwide Logistics. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing our most strategic and high-value customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Tactical Account Management
- Lead and manage the implementation of new services in collaboration with operational teams
- Coordinate, distribute, and maintain Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs) in collaboration with Sales, Operations, and Finance
- Penetrate organizational structures and develop relationships beyond main points of contact
- Ensure each Crane Worldwide Logistics office servicing the account understands the SOPs and executes accordingly
- Account Performance Management
- Maintain rates and assess yields monthly
- Monitor accounts for timely payments and assist with collections on past due invoices
- Set up internal reports to monitor performance in meeting critical milestones
- Strategic Account Management
- Understand accounts' business strategies, objectives, and risks/constraints
- Continually focus efforts on providing solutions to achieving objectives and mitigating risks/constraints
- Continuously pursue and implement more efficiency and cost reduction measures
- Provide accounts with market updates and educational support
- Identify growth opportunities and develop a strategy to secure opportunities with the appropriate internal resources
Requirements
- Proven experience in account management and business development
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
