CAD Technical Solutions Expert

Vodastra is seeking a highly skilled CAD Technical Solutions Expert to support and maintain our Siemens NX and Dassault Systems SolidWorks installations globally. As a key member of our team, you will provide end-user technical support to CAD users, design and manage CAD application configurations tailored to product lines and diverse end-user teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing expert-level technical support to CAD users, ensuring seamless adoption and utilization of CAD applications.
- Designing and managing CAD application configurations to meet the unique needs of various product lines and end-user teams.
- Collaborating with Digital Technology management and stakeholders to develop effective CAD strategies and drive business growth.
- Developing and executing CAD version upgrade plans and standards to ensure compatibility and efficiency.
- Driving adherence to best practices to improve user effectiveness and streamline business processes.
- Overseeing and monitoring licenses to ensure compliance with licensing constraints.
- Authoring self-help and technical documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding.
- Maintaining standard CAD components and templates to ensure consistency and quality.
- Testing CAD applications and integrations on new hardware configurations to ensure seamless functionality.
- Serving as a single point of contact between end-users and software vendors to resolve issues and provide support.
- Maintaining testing and lab environments for troubleshooting reported issues.
- Configuring and testing new versions of supported applications to ensure compatibility and functionality.
- Packaging and customizing CAD software and customized installations for rollout and self-serve installations.
- Assessing, setting up, and configuring new applications as Proof of Concepts.
- Facilitating CAD/CAM user group meetings and learning sessions to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience with using, maintaining, and/or supporting CAD applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Experience with Siemens NX and/or Dassault Systems SolidWorks is an advantage, as well as experience with other CAD tools and engineering software.
- Working experience in Oil & Gas domain is desirable.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
