Job Overview:
Sovos, a leading provider of tax compliance solutions, is seeking a highly motivated Commercial Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for working with new clients to sell company products and close long-term contracts.
The Role:
This role involves managing the sales process from initial prospecting to closing deals. You will leverage resources effectively throughout the sales cycle on strategic deals while articulating the value propositions of Sovos' products and services. Collaboration with various departments, particularly Sales, Legal, and Finance, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect within assigned territory to create leads for new client sales by growing pipeline opportunities.
- Sell and promote SaaS solutions to new accounts.
- Develop and execute strategic opportunity plans that ensure quota attainment.
- Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all matters with stakeholders.
- Take full responsibility for ensuring internal and external client satisfaction.
- Work with sales and marketing teams to share new ideas and business development strategies.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Ability to navigate and manage end-to-end sales cycles.
- 1-3 years' experience as a BDR, quota-carrying Sales role, or similar; software solution sales preferred.
- Knowledge of contact management solutions, preferably Salesforce.com.
- Ability to comprehend and communicate complex concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Utilization of technology (e.g., phone systems, computer hardware, and software applications) to fulfill work requirements and effective communication.
