About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Mexico City. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a pivotal role in building the foundation of all HR operations that will shape the culture and employee experience at Fetch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stand up the full employee lifecycle for our Mexico employees, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Draft and publish an Employee Handbook that complies with applicable local law and projects Fetch's culture.
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for HR operations in Mexico.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with People Operations and US-based teams.
  • Assist the US team in resolving conflicts and mediating employee issues or workplace concerns.
  • Ensure local regulation compliance, including local authority reporting requirements, creating and amending employment contracts, and standing up committees.
  • Perform additional duties as needed, including power of attorney responsibilities.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a human resource function, with particular experience in employee relations.
  • Bilingual, Spanish and English.
  • Highly detailed-oriented, organized, and adept at setting up meetings, tracking goals, and managing processes.
  • Able to exercise sound judgment and maintain the confidential nature of HR work.
  • Work well under pressure, take initiative, and are flexible and cooperative.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google equivalents (including Gmail).
