About the Role

Eaton's is currently seeking a highly skilled EHS Technician to join our team at our Juarez plant. As an EHS Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, as well as maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute and support manufacturing processes related to EHS projects and tasks to ensure compliance with Eaton's EHS criteria, legal requirements, and regulations.
  • Participate in tasks required to maintain safety, health, and environmental programs in operation, including safety audits, inspections, and investigations.
  • Collect and analyze data related to safety and environmental performance.
  • Perform inspections and participate in EHS environment programs, including monitoring and follow-up for implementation and sustainability.
  • Support ISO 14001, Clean Industry, and Zero to Landfill programs, as well as MESH Assessments.
  • Coordinate EHS studies, including noise measurement, lighting measurement, and pressure vessel inspections.
  • Maintain applicable EHS records up to date and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Support EHS trainings and collaborate with risk analysis of operations.
Requirements
  • University degree in Process Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an EHS Technician.
  • Technical knowledge of environmental, safety, and industrial hygiene.
  • Experience in administering hazardous waste warehouses, chemicals, and recycling areas.
  • Basic knowledge and experience responding to EHS audits and attending ISO 14001, Clean Industry audits.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and testing and measurement equipment related to EHS.
  • Experience in contractor management and wide knowledge related to Work in Heights, Confined Spaces, Hot Work, and Forklift management.
