We are seeking an exceptional Patient Recruitment Associate to join our team at ICON plc. This entry-level role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about clinical research and have excellent communication skills.
About the Role:
- Fulfill an integral role in supporting ICON's growth and success by encouraging patients to participate in clinical research studies.
- Act as the main point of contact, conducting phone screens, reviewing patient information, and discussing research opportunities.
- Maintain patient databases and report recruitment outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Screen potential study participants according to telescreen questionnaires to determine suitability for trials.
- Accurately review, enter, and edit patient information in CTMS systems.
- Book patient appointments into Accellacare CTMS, ensuring accurate and up-to-date entries.
- Attend all study-related training and maintain working knowledge of study protocols.
Requirements:
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in customer service or sales positions is considered an asset.
- Interpersonal skills and telephone manner.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology is helpful but not essential.
