About the Role

This position supports, reviews, and monitors the design and execution of marketing plans prepared by business unit managers (BUMs), in accordance with the company's general strategies. Works together with sales teams to achieve sales and commercial objectives. Develops and implements communications plans according to global strategies. Manages the marketing budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Directs the strategies and objectives defined by BUMs for each business unit.
  • Keeps the General Director informed of the evolution of different business units, including threats and market opportunities.
  • In collaboration with BUMs, ensures that all products/services launched are carried out under the same pattern, maintaining a clear message of value proposition to customers.
  • Ensures the alignment of business unit marketing actions with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Fosters the search for new business opportunities by BUMs.
  • Advises on the fulfillment of quality system requirements; procedures, audits, corrective actions, etc.
  • Participates in the preparation of the budget and is jointly responsible for its achievement, monitoring the profit and loss by business unit.
  • Defines marketing budgets for each business unit in conjunction with finance.
  • Collaborates in the definition of promotional activities with the head of sales and BUMs.
  • Ensures a correct level of training for business unit and commercial members. Additionally, ensures customer training is done under the same protocol and homogeneous level of information.
  • Maintains a fluid relationship with opinion leaders, conducts client visits, and encourages collaboration agreements, in coordination with the commercial force and BUMs.
  • Actively works to improve company profitability, seeking to improve sales margins and optimize scrap, CI, demos, and travel expenses. Ensures through BUMs the profitability of the installed base of fixed assets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, economics, engineering, finance, chemistry, or biomedical sciences.
  • MBA is preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in marketing leadership roles within the healthcare or diagnostics industry.
  • Business management and business acumen.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
