Sales Director

**Overview**
The Sales Director at Accorhotel is responsible for leading and driving top-line revenue strategy for traditional sales segments, including group, volume transient, and catering. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the luxury entertainment sector, with a strong background in participating in trade shows across the United States and a comprehensive understanding of industry dynamics and client engagement strategies.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement a marketing communications plan designed to achieve the desired positioning for the hotel
- Manage the sales and marketing budget that supports revenue attainment
- Identify and research potential accounts/clients and prospect for new business opportunities, generate leads, and set up meetings/presentations with clients
- Use property's computerized sales management system to manage the hotel's business, including generating reports, entering business, blocking space, building accounts, and logging activities
- Act as the hotel's voice of the customer and communicate key issues/concerns at all levels of the organization
**Requirements**
- At least 3 years' experience as Group Sales Manager, with prior hotel sales experience
- Experience dealing with/communicating with ownership groups and asset management
- Proficient in managing/using PMS systems
- Experience working collaboratively with revenue management
- Well-rounded knowledge of all market segments and channel sources, as well as ability to develop a strategic plan for each
