Strategic Sales Director

About the Role
As a Strategic Sales Director, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and development for our sales activities in Mexico. This role requires a strong leader who can manage a team of sales professionals and work cross-functionally and globally across the company. You will be responsible for ensuring alignment with globally set targets and initiatives, and for providing strategic and operational management support. You will report to the Director of Sales, Americas.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the First Line Sales managers' performance and results
Provide regular business performance metric reports to management
Liaise and work with senior management to set forecasts, budgets, and targets
Ensure effective management of end-user and customer relations
Review and monitor sales performance periodically and refine sales strategy as required by management
Provide valuable insights into trending market conditions and continually update our local business plan regarding delivery, profitability, and efficiency
Follow up and prioritize areas of development and expansion, aligned with the company's strategy
Create great cross-functional collaborations, driving synergies, and sharing best practices to keep improving according to both market trends and internal strategies
About You
We are looking for someone with a university degree in Business Administration or Engineering combined with extensive experience in a similar role. Experience working in a cross-functional and matrix environment is essential. You should be a strong and trustworthy relationship builder and leader with a genuine interest in developing people. You are curious and eager to explore new possibilities, constantly keeping an eye on development and market trends. By analyzing our business environment and mixing strategy with hands-on actions, you drive customer value and increase our competitiveness. You are goal-oriented and always seek to achieve results. Your excellent communication skills enable you to build strong and trusting relationships across our entire business.
