Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Administrator to join our team at Jabil Circuit. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing security measures to safeguard against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operate and maintain the fire panel, ensuring sensors are functioning correctly and responding to emergencies as needed.
  2. Troubleshoot security system problems, contacting external contractors for repairs and maintaining records of maintenance.
  3. Coordinate scheduling and direction of necessary repairs or adjustments to security systems.
  4. Perform key-related work, including re-keying doors, repairing locks, and making spare keys.
  5. Assist the Security Manager in overseeing new security equipment installations.
  6. Troubleshoot and assist other Global facilities with security programming issues.
  7. Maintain the Casi-Rusco access system and its database, ensuring familiarity with system components for data extraction.
  8. Ensure timely software upgrades on security systems.
  9. Verify that all security systems are operational and personnel perform scheduled checks.
  10. Review computer logs, videos, and messages for management, overseeing officer reviews in a timely manner.
  11. Coordinate, document, and report on internal investigations of possible security violations.
  12. Collaborate with law enforcement and legal representatives in investigations of possible security violations.
  13. Be knowledgeable in the use of the CCTV system, programming presets and macros on the 9740/9760 system, and proficient in the basic operation of the recording system.
  14. Analyze, select, recommend, and coordinate the installation of security locks, alarm systems, and other security equipment, investigating new equipment to maintain optimal security at Jabil Florida.
  15. Develop simplified instructions for the operation of security systems.
  16. Oversee the installation of new equipment, tracking warranties on equipment.
  17. Develop simple instructional procedures for all security-related equipment.
  18. Complete time and attendance records for non-exempt employees on a weekly basis.
  19. Assign and maintain forms and reports, keeping phone lists and operational lists up to date.
  20. Maintain a running spreadsheet of Security expenses.
  21. Complete purchase orders requests as needed for security-related items.
  22. Maintain a running spreadsheet of departmental spending.
  23. Control and maintain Key records, controlling keys for Office, lockers, desks, etc.
  24. Update layouts pertaining to security equipment and placement.
  25. Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
  26. Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
Requirements

An Associate's degree in a related field is preferred, along with six months to one year of experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages, are required. The ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups is also necessary.

The ability to work with mathematical concepts, apply concepts to practical situations, define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions is essential.

The physical demands of this job include walking, lifting, and carrying PC's and test equipment weighing up to 15lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and use of computer monitor screens for a great deal of time.

The work environment is primarily located in the office area, with some time spent on the manufacturing floor. The noise level ranges from low to moderate.
