Role Overview:

The Client Onboarding Coordinator (COC) is tasked with ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for our restaurant partners. Utilizing a consultative methodology, the COC will tailor, organize, and deliver training to essential personnel on our various product offerings. The onboarding team manages the comprehensive implementation process, guiding restaurants from initial engagement through configuration to training and launch. This role is performed remotely, employing diverse tools and methodologies to facilitate the onboarding journey. The COC is part of a distributed team focused on equipping each restaurant for success with OpenTable, with performance metrics based on implementation speed, volume, and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage with restaurant partners to navigate them through the onboarding journey.
  • Collaborate with restaurant teams to customize the OpenTable system according to their operational needs.
  • Utilize telecommunication and online platforms to train key staff, emphasizing strategies to enhance their operational efficiency with OpenTable.
  • Provide administrative support for the Global Onboarding program, including scheduling training sessions, gathering content, and overseeing software implementations.
  • Assist restaurant staff and potential third-party vendors in deploying the OpenTable RestRef widget.
  • Partner with internal teams to refine and enhance the Onboarding program.
  • Efficiently manage a queue of restaurants to minimize onboarding time.
  • Communicate task statuses and backlog updates to peers and the broader community.
  • Collaborate closely with OpenTable's Sales, Customer Success, Customer Support, and Billing teams to resolve customer challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a support, implementation, or hospitality role.
  • Proven experience in training non-technical users on software applications.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations; direct experience in the industry is advantageous.
  • Ability to make informed decisions in ambiguous situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve results with minimal oversight.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in phone and virtual training settings.
  • Preferred educational background includes a college degree.
  • Exceptional organizational, documentation, and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
