Job DescriptionJob Summary

This role requires a highly skilled and experienced Luxury Hotel Sales Manager to promote and sell group markets in defined geographic regions for three properties: Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita and Four Seasons Resort Nevis and Naviva, A Four Seasons Hotel. The successful candidate will generate hotels/resorts awareness through direct phone sales, tradeshow appearances, and networking groups.

The ideal candidate will possess strong business development and prospecting skills, with the ability to identify and target group customers and site selection companies. They will negotiate contracts, draft proposals, and secure business on behalf of the hotels.

Main Responsibilities
  • Business Development and Prospecting:
  • Negotiate, draft, generate proposals, contracts, and addendums to ensure resort budget and revenue targets are achieved.
  • Utilize various prospecting resources to solicit and secure business on behalf of hotels.
  • Create and execute account plans for assigned market territory to ensure maximum group revenue and budgeted group targets are achieved for both properties.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and direct sales goals.
  • Assist Director of Sales in developing new programs and sales campaigns.
Prioritizing & Time Management:
  • Treat active selling, solicitation, and business development as the top job priority.
  • Protect the Golden-Selling Hours for both properties.
  • Schedule activities effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Handle and organize sales calls and trips in a cost-efficient manner.
Travel:

Varying percentage, approximately 40%.

RequirementsSkills and Qualifications:
  • Luxury hotel group sales experience with a minimum of 4 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven sales track record required.
  • College degree – 4 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English (required language).
  • Working computer skills and knowledge including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Golden Sales & Catering, Ideas, Internet, Opera.

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
