Job Overview
The Group Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth and revenue expansion for Marriott's W Hotels. This position is accountable for proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities, ensuring seamless service delivery, and fostering long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Relationship Building
- Builddvelops and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings through targeted sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, and other activities.
- Cultivates relationships within the community to expand the customer base and drive sales opportunities.
- Manages and develops key internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Sales Activities
- Participates in sales calls with team members to acquire new business and close deals.
- Executes operational aspects of booked business, including generating proposals, writing contracts, and customer correspondence.
- Market Analysis and Revenue Growth
- Identifies new business opportunities to achieve personal and location revenue goals.
- Understands market trends, competitors' strengths and weaknesses, and economic conditions to sell effectively against them.
- Closes high-priority opportunities based on market conditions and location needs.
- Customer Service Excellence
- Delivers exceptional customer service by understanding customer business needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Provides outstanding service to grow share of the account and execute company customer service standards.
Requirements and Qualifications:
To succeed as a Group Sales Manager at W Hotels, you should have:
- A 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (3 years) OR a 4-year bachelor's degree in a related field (1 year experience).
- Proven sales and marketing expertise, with a focus on building long-term customer relationships and driving revenue growth.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
