About the Role

The Service Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, providing technical support and developing maintenance and support plans to ensure the proper functioning of our packaging systems. This role requires a strong understanding of technical service activities, customer needs, and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor all technical service related activities with customers, including planning monitoring visits, preventative and corrective maintenance of SIG Combibloc equipment, and developing action plans for pending technical service items.
  • Provide technical support to both customers and the sales department, conducting technical proposal meetings with clients and presenting feasible solutions for their needs.
  • Follow up on key performance indicators of installed customer lines, updating customer lines' KPIs and presenting action plans in the short, medium, and long term to meet specified objectives.
  • Develop and advance the skills of service engineers under direct management, promoting and preparing training plans for them.
  • Comply with the requirements set by immediate manager and all company regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineer, Electrical, Electronic, Industrial, or related field required.
  • Postgraduate or Master's degree preferred.
  • 5 years minimum of prior experience in the industry and/or 3 years in the same position.
  • Experience with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Advanced.
  • Experience with SAP Transactions and analysis a must.
