About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Sales Operations Manager to join our team at Yankee Candle. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for executing strategies to increase share, sales, and profit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimizing the Field Sales Process: Analyze sales data, identify areas for improvement, and develop and implement strategies to streamline the sales process for field representatives.
  • Managing Sales Technology: Ensure field representatives have the necessary tools and technology for success, such as CRM and sales automation tools.
  • Field Sales Representative Training & Development: Train field sales representatives on the company's products or services, as well as best sales practices, and help develop the sales skills of representatives through coaching and feedback.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Gather and analyze sales data to identify trends, forecast sales, and provide valuable insights to sales managers and executive leadership.
  • Logistics Management: In some cases, the Field Sales Operations Manager may also be responsible for logistics, such as scheduling appointments and travel for field representatives.
  • Collaboration with Other Departments: Work collaboratively with other departments, such as marketing and customer service, to ensure a positive customer experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field
  • Experience in sales and/or sales operations
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and best practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in the industry the company serves
  • Knowledge of sales tools and technology
