About the Role

The Customer Success Renewal Specialist is a key member of the SAS - Global team, responsible for driving customer retention and renewal strategy. This role requires a strong focus on contract negotiation, account management, and customer success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute win/win negotiation strategies for medium to large account contract renewals, optimizing contract terms while protecting and enhancing customer trust.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Legal, and Customer Success Managers, to secure every renewal and minimize financial attrition.
  • Present renewal proposals and options to customers, ensuring timely and successful renewals for the account.
  • Identify customer requirements, uncover roadblocks, and demonstrate strong account management and commercial capabilities to drive renewal to on-time closure.
  • Proactively monitor and manage renewals in assigned territory, minimizing uninvoiced renewals and driving maximum renewal and up-selling from the install base.
Requirements
  • Minimum of five years of demonstrated success in an Account Management, Inside Sales, Renewal Account Management, or Customer Success capacity.
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline, preferably in Business, Marketing, MIS (Computer Sciences), or related field.
  • Strong focus on contract negotiation and ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Good understanding of SaaS/subscription-based renewals models, application, and sales techniques.
  • Strong negotiation and objection handling skills, allowing for value-based contract negotiations at the CXO level, involving multi-year contracts.
  • Experience leading customer retention and adoption of a SaaS product for complex accounts/territories.
