**Job Summary**:

The Strategic Planning Analyst is a key member of the Strategic Planning team at Cemex, playing a vital role in the organization's overall operations and senior management. This integral role involves preparing executive presentations, analyzing financial results, and providing insightful commentary on business performance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

• Prepare and present monthly executive reports to the CEO and Exco, including in-depth analysis and recommendations on business performance
• Develop and maintain accurate and forward-looking financial information for Investor Relations
• Conduct monthly financial reporting and analysis, providing actionable insights to senior management
• Support the annual budgeting process for the entire U.S. operation, ensuring accurate forecasting and planning
• Analyze pricing impact, volume/pricing breakeven, cost benchmarks, and other detailed financial metrics
• Design and develop scenario analysis, financial models, and cost-benefit analysis to inform business decisions
• Provide expert analysis and recommendations on business performance, identifying areas for improvement
• Support the training and development of junior analysts, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development
• Continuously improve processes and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency
• Adhere to all Cemex, OSHA, and MSHA rules and regulations, prioritizing safety and well-being

**Requirements**:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or Accounting preferred
• 3-5 years of professional experience in a related field
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Self-motivated and independent thinker, with a proven track record of delivering results
• Business analytics and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
