About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Juárez, Chihuahua. As an Engineering Operations Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth engineering operations and tackling challenges head-on. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing team activities, including task delegation, performance evaluations, training, policy enforcement, and making hiring or disciplinary recommendations.
  • Coordinating communication and providing project management of construction project design, review, and project implementation.
  • Performing and/or coordinating land use and applicant project submittal reviews.
  • Evaluating, implementing, and maintaining systems and standards required for mapping, permitting, and plan review.
  • Reviewing design plans, specifications, utility installations, as-built records, and other engineering documents to ensure compliance with established standards, ordinances, and laws.
  • Updating and maintaining department Webpage content, project status, and/or performance reports.
  • Assisting with special projects, including developing scope of work, design and methodology for master plans, coordinating and tracking plan review processes and permitting for major engineering projects, and coordinating service delivery studies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
  • 0-1 years of related experience.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.

  • Data Analytics and Simulation: Proficiency in data analysis tools, statistical analysis, and simulation software can help industrial engineers make data-driven decisions and predict outcomes of process changes.
  • Cross-Cultural Communication: In a globalized business environment, the ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds is valuable, especially in international projects or teams.
  • Creativity and Innovation: Industrial engineers who can think creatively and develop innovative solutions are often more effective at addressing complex challenges.
