About the Team

The Finance Technology team at Zillow Group is responsible for building tools that enhance the scalability of our financial operations. Our goal is to create systems that support tasks such as payment processing, accounting, tax management, financial forecasting, and the monetization of our premium products. We are the technical owners of the systems relied upon by Zillow for external financial reporting and revenue generation.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to join our team. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will have the opportunity to leverage your technical expertise while honing your people management skills. You will primarily support the Finance Technology team, diving deep into the capabilities of our Finance processes and integration layer, and our billing platform strategy. You will collaborate with and facilitate communication among partners from Product, Engineering, and Finance.

Responsibilities
  • Shaping and prioritizing the team's roadmap
  • Defining intricate cross-team solutions and technical requirements
  • Actively steering projects to successful completion
Requirements
  • 7 to 10 years of experience working with custom built and SaaS development products
  • At least 5 to 7 years working with financial applications
  • Leading medium to large scale projects across five or more cross-functional teams
  • Strong customer service and consulting skills
  • Ability to translate business and technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Experience
  • Integrating first-party software with third-party applications
  • Conversational proficiency with common finance concepts
  • Experience working on systems that are subject to strict security and compliance requirements
