At Ennismore, we're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Entertainment department at SLS Playa Mujeres Cancun, All-Inclusive Collection. As Director of Entertainment, you'll be responsible for crafting exceptional experiences that delight our guests and exceed their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement entertainment programs, including special events and contract services, to enhance the guest experience.
  • Establish schedules and methods for providing entertainment services, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and other stakeholders to develop goals, objectives, and policies that drive excellence in entertainment services.
  • Prepare and disseminate publicity materials, including event promotions and seasonal brochures, to showcase our entertainment offerings.
  • Identify community needs and recommend programs that align with our brand values and guest preferences.
  • Conduct and supervise special events, ensuring they meet our high standards for quality and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain and design the online entertainment registration program, making it easy for guests to engage with our entertainment offerings.
  • Serve as a liaison on community-related committees and subcommittees, fostering partnerships and collaborations that benefit our guests and the local community.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions, order supplies and materials, and manage the entertainment program budget to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Participate in the selection, training, and development of part-time entertainment team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional experiences.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar leadership role, preferably in luxury and/or lifestyle hospitality settings.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving business results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
