Position Overview

The MSCI Index Management Research team is a key component of the company's Research and Product Development organization, responsible for the ownership and evolution of all index methodologies covering Equity, Fixed Income, and Real Assets classes. The team collaborates closely with Product, Client Coverage, and Technology and Data Services organizations to improve product quality.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Support the real estate index management research team on index quality, methodology, and publications-related topics.
  • Work on operational improvement projects, research-based charting tools/analysis on real estate property and property fund indexes.
  • Collaborate on annual representativeness studies on global market size estimations.

Specific Knowledge and Skills

  • Excellent English communication skills are essential.
  • Financial industry knowledge is required.
  • Advanced Excel, Python programming skills, and data visualization techniques (Power BI) are necessary.

Desired Experience

  • Students in 6th-9th semester of a bachelor's degree with a strong interest in Finance, with a GPA of 90/100.
  • Studies abroad or previous work experience is strongly desired.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight, short-term deadlines.
