About the Role

Palo Alto Networks, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Channel Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our channel organization, you will play a critical role in driving growth and revenue through strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Execute Business Plans: Collaborate with Account Directors to create and execute business plans that maximize growth opportunities and ensure partners are well-positioned to deliver successful customer implementations and deployments.
  2. Drive Partner and Customer Satisfaction: Work effectively in a team environment to ensure partner and customer satisfaction, driving alignment between sales teams and executing with excellence across account planning and pipeline management.
  3. Design Compelling Value Propositions: Develop and activate services based on emerging and established technologies, increasing revenue growth, and liaising closely with product teams to innovate new solutions and GTM strategies.
  4. Provide Clear Communication: Offer consistent and clear communication across the region with partners to build strong partnerships, leading regular business performance and relationship reviews with senior management and stakeholders.
  5. Build and Maintain Performance Reports: Develop and maintain activity of performance reports and activity dashboards, ensuring data-driven decision making.
Requirements
  1. Channel Management Experience: Proven experience in channel management, business development, or related roles within the enterprise software ecosystem and/or network security industry.
  2. Language Skills: Fluency in both English and Spanish languages.
  3. Market Understanding: Understanding of the local Mexican market and its dynamics.
  4. Operating Models: Familiarity with SP & GSI operating models is a plus.
  5. Sales, Marketing, and Solution Development: Knowledge of sales, marketing, and solution development principles.
  6. Communication and Leadership: Strong initiative, creative thinking, and excellent presentation, written, and overall communication skills.
  7. Complex Sales Situations: Consistent track record of leading complex sales situations through negotiation and conflict resolution.
