Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for Content Licensing

About the Role
This leadership position is part of the Warner Bros. Discovery Studios Center of Excellence (COE), focusing on Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA) for Content Licensing.
The successful candidate will lead the FPA Content Licensing team, working closely with COE and business partner leadership to determine resourcing needs and organization structure.
Key responsibilities include:
- Executing transition plans with COE leadership
- Ensuring timely delivery of planning responsibilities, including forecast preparation, submission, and budget preparation
- Delivering reporting responsibilities, including actuals versus forecast variance reporting
- Providing analysis for the functional area of responsibility, including initial review and analysis of variance reporting
- Developing team members' professional and people skills, knowledge of the business, and team engagement
- Partnering with stakeholders for the execution of key initiatives, including global process alignment, continuous improvement, and implementation of planning and reporting best practices
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 10+ years of related professional experience, with at least 8 years in a management position
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, Master's degree a plus
- English language proficiency at a minimum of professional working proficiency
- Advanced knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and reporting concepts, and EPM tools and processes
- Experience managing large teams, commercial and media experience a plus
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships across the organization, strong problem resolution skills, and a high degree of integrity, tact, and diplomacy
- Effective communication at all levels of the organization, with the ability to influence others and negotiate outcomes
- Strong written, oral, and presentation skills required
