We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an International Trade Development Manager.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with us in promoting British trade and investment across Mexico, focusing on the Automotive and Advanced Engineering Sectors.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase trade flows between the UK and Mexico, working closely with key stakeholders in both countries.

Your primary goal will be to promote business opportunities for UK companies in Mexico, identifying potential clients and providing them with tailored commercial services to help them succeed in the local market.

Additionally, you will be involved in organising trade promotion activities, such as events, missions, and meetings, to foster closer relationships between the two nations.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase trade flows between the UK and Mexico.
  • Identify potential clients for UK companies in Mexico and provide them with tailored commercial services.
  • Organise trade promotion activities, including events, missions, and meetings, to foster closer relationships between the two nations.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders in both countries to promote business opportunities for UK companies in Mexico.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support the growth of international trade between the UK and Mexico.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Economics, International Relations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in international trade, preferably in the Mexican market.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with market entry strategies into Mexico for international companies.
  • Knowledge of the British-Mexican trade relationship.
