About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Category Manager to join our Amazon Grocery Team in Mexico. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for owning the P&L for multiple categories and vendors, driving business growth, and developing strategic relationships with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category strategies to drive business growth and profitability
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts and agreements to ensure competitive costs and exclusive access to new products
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive superior category and vendor results, including marketing, in-stock, and Amazon Advertising
- Continuously audit and improve the customer experience and business performance
- Drive direction and alignment with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in account management, project or program management, or buying
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL
- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration
- Experience with business analysis and P&L management
- Bachelor Degree or certificate of completion of studies required and at least 8+ years of professional background
- Advanced level in both, English and Spanish
