About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Support Engineer to join our team in Mexico. In this role, you will provide technical support for our financial services clients, ensuring the smooth operation of their systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities
- To analyze and resolve production issues, working closely with development teams and stakeholders to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- To develop and maintain knowledge management systems, ensuring that all relevant information is up-to-date and accessible.
- To collaborate with ITIL process experts to improve service management and knowledge management processes.
- To design, develop, and implement scripts and automation tools to streamline production support tasks.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in software engineering, with experience in SQL (Pl/SQL) and Unix Shell Scripting.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, particularly Service Management and Knowledge Management.
- Hands-on experience with debugging and troubleshooting techniques, including Root Cause Analysis.
