Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Team Lead to join our team at BRP. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for supervising a group of maintenance technicians and ensuring the production equipment is running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure the efficient operation of production equipment.
  • Design and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of safety and quality within the maintenance team.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance metrics, including equipment uptime, downtime, and maintenance costs.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal customers to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.

Requirements

  • Electromechanical, electrical, mechanical, industrial, or mechatronics engineering degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4 years of experience in production equipment maintenance, with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of preventive, corrective, and root cause maintenance techniques.
  • Basic English language skills for reading technical information.
  • Computer knowledge, including MS Office and PLC software.
  • SAP and Google-Docs knowledge (desirable).
  • Knowledge of techniques and philosophies such as TPM, Six Sigma, 5's, and DMAIC.
  • Knowledge of security techniques and standards such as Lock-Out, Tag-Out (Locking and Carding).
  • Dynamic and good pressure management.
