Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Category Manager to join our Global Paper and Print Category Team at the LEGO Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
- Work closely with Global Supplier Relationship Owners to ensure regional suppliers balance the portfolio for the category
- Strategic partnerships with key regional suppliers to enable proper Supplier Relationship Management and resiliency of supply
- Contracting and supplier onboarding/termination, including quality audits and commercial negotiations
- Responsible for all commercial and risk mitigation aspects of agreements
- Assist in resolving operational issues such as delivery, invoicing, payment, quality, and service levels violations
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in consumer-packaged goods, manufacturing, and site procurement
- Minimum of 5 years of dynamic experience in Paper and Printing Technologies
- Knowledge of market dynamics and players within the industries
- Skilled communicator with professional verbal and written communication skills
- Solid analytical and negotiation skills
- Ability to develop practical recommendations and implementation plans
