About the Role

The Director of Sales and Marketing at Dream Valle De Guadalupe is a seasoned professional responsible for driving innovative sales and marketing strategies that achieve measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Sales and Marketing Department to meet or exceed projected and budgeted rooms and events revenue for the hotel.
  • Work with the General Manager and Corporate Teams to strategically plan and set overall business goals.
  • Leverage extensive network to understand local, regional, and key international feeder markets.
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing plans to increase revenue and occupancy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales and marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management preferred.
  • Five or more years of related and progressive sales experience in luxury hotel environments, with two years at a Director level in a similar setting.
  • Prior experience working as a DOSM in Mexico, with knowledge of operating an internationally branded hotel.
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of local, regional, and global markets, F&B, and travel and tourism trends.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of strategic planning, brand management, corporate communications, performance analytics, budgeting, project management, partner relations, and lead generation.
  • Ability to effectively present financials, strategies, and other presentations to stakeholders.
  • Business acumen and forward-thinking approach to analyzing business opportunities, proposing cost-management initiatives, and efficiencies.
  • Lead-from-the-front mentality, with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain positive relationships.
