Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Service Representative to join our team at Bunge. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing technical support and application expertise to our customers and sales organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and application expertise to customers and sales organization via personal visits, telephone, and email correspondence.
  • Collaborate with sales team to define the best way to support customers' requests and identify their needs.
  • Act as a connection to One Bunge and assist in the technical training of Bunge Oils sales force.
  • Manage BOM master data, including SAP, Sales Force, SRM, and other platforms.
  • Elaborate functional trials with customers, suppliers, and tolling partners to validate and ensure the performance of our products, facilities, and equipment.
  • Improve the performance of Bunge's operations and products through innovation projects and functional applications trials.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external customers with value proposals for their processes through line products or developments.
  • Support BLC and tolling facilities in processes, formulations, and supplies of raw materials.
  • Tolling support for development, implementation, and production of Bunge products.
  • Manage the entire process of new product creation, from formulation to delivery and customer functioning.
  • Analyze information related to this area, with knowledge of management systems such as Salesforce, SAP, and Tableau.
  • Establish technical contact with suppliers for market needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory affairs globally and locally.
  • Participate in marketing activities, such as assisting with events to promote and know products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science or Bakery Science.
  • Minimum of four years of experience as a Technical Service Representative or equivalent.
  • Intelligent, friendly, collaborative, and hard-working individual.
  • English proficiency required.
  • Proven results in high-performance teams achieving common goals.
  • Ability to adapt to, work, and influence a multi-cultural environment and team.
  • Domestic and international travel, estimated 35% overnight, but extended stays may occur when working on product applications/industrial trials.
  • General understanding of food production processes.
  • Proven ability to recognize and understand new trends in the food industry and final consumer products market.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Work Schedule
  • Full-time position, typically 40 hours a week, but on occasion, overtime hours may be required.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within Mexico and to other Bunge locations.
