Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities:
Serves as the main point of contact for sourcing and reservations for Applied Equipment contracts, providing proactive and supportive solutions through daily interaction with Sales, Service, Operations, and Marketing teams.
Key Duties:
Communicates with factories and branches/agents to ensure order reservations and sourcing meet customer requirements and expectations. Monitors order reservations and works with Sales offices to prevent delays, ensuring timely completion without additional costs. Collaborates with Sales to resolve order problems identified by contract engineering or factory order edit departments.
Additional Responsibilities:
Coordinates input of answers or information in IBS as received from factories and/or transport carriers to ensure Sales' questions are answered. Maintains and ensures the accuracy of information in IBS used by factories. Reviews orders in YORKworks/SelNav as needed for details and technical information, contacting Marketing on behalf of customers to resolve YORKworks problems. Requests revisions to orders for specific technical changes required for manufacture of units. Investigates and expedites factories to assist customers in resolving requests involving under/over shipments, defective material, or mis-shipments, in-transit damage, etc. Coordinates storage arrangements on customers' behalf when required. Handles and resolves damaged cargo freight, securing necessary documentation from transport companies to assist customers or corporate logistics in filing damage claims. Initiates communications with customers to receive necessary documentation for factory visits or customer witness of factory tests. Secures requested manuals, drawings, QC documentation, starter, or motor specifications from factories and/or vendors and sends to customers.
