Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team in Japan. This new role is critical to driving our strategic initiatives aimed at accelerating market share and expanding our presence in the Japanese market.

The Senior Business Development Manager will work cross-functionally with various teams to develop and execute comprehensive plans that align with our business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic programs to accelerate market share and presence in Japan.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, product management, and customer success to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives.
  3. Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and challenges in the Japanese market.
  4. Drive the planning and execution of go-to-market strategies and campaigns.
  5. Monitor and report on the progress of strategic programs, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  7. Identify and mitigate risks associated with strategic programs.
  8. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in strategic program management, with a minimum of 5-7 years in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of the Japanese market and business culture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in the technology or software industry is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in both Japanese and English is required.
