What You'll Do

You'll join Cisco's Global Technical Center in the Customer Experience - Support Services organization. Our focus is on delivering exceptional customer experiences through technical expertise and collaborative tools. You'll work with critical customers, applying sophisticated fix techniques to provide tailored solutions. As a hybrid cloud expert, you'll learn and apply software and traditional network engineering methodologies to drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interact with customers remotely to provide support and solutions.
  • Apply advanced fix techniques to resolve complex customer issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering and development teams to resolve customer problems.
  • Work on critical, complex problems and partner with teams to reproduce and resolve customer issues.
  • Mentor new hires, develop training, and participate in events like Cisco Live to showcase your expertise.
  • Write tutorials, how-to videos, and technical articles for the developer community.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • English proficiency.
  • Strong analysis fundamentals and fix skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present ideas effectively.
  • Ability to take ownership of customer success and drive satisfaction.
  • Ability to handle tasks and complete them in a timely manner.
  • Hands-on experience with tools to configure, deploy, and fix Cisco or other vendors' products and solutions.
  • Ability to identify network topologies, build lab setups, and collaborate with multiple technologies to replicate and resolve problems.
  • Willingness to learn new skills to support different technologies and adapt to business needs.
  • Solid ability to work with multiple functional teams.
Technical Profile
  • At least two years of experience in analyzing traffic and packet flows using packet analyzers like Wireshark or Omnipeek.
  • Hands-on experience in server virtualization using VMWare ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, or Linux KVM.
  • Admin fix experience of Linux-based hosts, servers, and devices.
  • Working knowledge of IP networking, L2/L3 network protocols, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing, SNMP, and QoS.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple client device types, IEEE Standards, Wireless Sniffing, Rogue Detection, RF Transmission, Antennas, etc.
  • Ability to understand, explain, and solve WLAN Security in areas like Authentication, Encryption, IDS/IPS, AAA authentication, LDAP, Radius, EAP-TLS, LEAP, PEAP, PSK, AES-CCMP encryption, WPA, and WPA2.
Desired Skills
  • Hands-on experience administrating Wireless Cisco Technologies.
  • Configure, implement, and fix API-based technologies.
  • Programming skills in Python and scripting.
  • Server virtualization using VMWare, MS Hyper-V.
  • Deploy using AWS, Azure, GCP, or Alibaba Cloud third-party instances.
Certifications (Not Mandatory)
  • CCNA.
  • Cisco Devnet Associate.
  • CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Security.
  • CWNA.
  • CWNP.
  • Any other industry-related certification.
