Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Arrangements Coordinator to join our team at Marriott Vacations Worldwide. As a key member of our cruise sales department, you will be responsible for making all necessary travel arrangements, including cruises, tours, and special travel services provided as part of our timeshare membership.

This role requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with customers, provide information, and process bookings. You must have knowledge of the cruise and tour industry, as well as proficiency in using technology and industry certifications.

You will be required to handle inbound calls to sell new cruise bookings and modify existing reservations, using your excellent customer service skills to retain business and meet operational needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Make all necessary travel arrangements, including cruises, tours, and special travel services
  • Interact with customers to provide and process information
  • Determine customer issues by evaluating symptoms while guiding them through the booking process
  • Follow standard processes and procedures, T&C, and Q&A
  • Identify and escalate priority issues per problem specifications
  • Offer alternative solutions to retain customers and clients' business
  • Communicate effectively with others in antagonistic situations, reducing tension or conflict
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of the cruise and tour industry

  • Able to work shifts and weekends

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary, $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
