Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Sales Leader to join our team at Accor Mexico. As a Director of Sales, you will be responsible for leading our Sales team in Mexico and Chile, driving revenue growth across all relevant sales market segments, and developing and implementing strategic plans to source, drive, and grow revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Growth: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth across all relevant sales market segments, including consortia, leisure, and MICE.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and lead a small team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure they meet their objectives and targets.
  • Market Knowledge: Provide local market knowledge and insights to stay ahead of the competition and identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with key teams, including Hotel Operations, Brand, Revenue, Digital, Graphics & PR, to ensure effective working relationships and drive top-line revenue and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Account Management: Manage a portfolio of accounts, taking the lead on rate negotiations and account management activities to maximize market share.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years' experience in a mid-to-senior sales role within the Mexican market.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and methodical thinking, high attention to detail, and a solution-focused approach. Excellent relationship-building skills, confident in working with other teams and leaders.
  • Qualifications: Fluent in both verbal and written English and Spanish.
