**Key Responsibilities:**

As an integral member of the General Motors team, the Human Resources Business Partner will collaborate with employees and management to communicate and implement human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards. This role requires expertise in employee relations, providing guidance and support to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with employees and management to communicate HR policies and procedures
  • Supporting international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters
  • Providing insight on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning
  • Partnering with functional leaders to fill open positions within the organization
  • Conducting performance improvement and career development discussions
  • Resolving complex salaried employee relations issues and investigations

Additionally, this role will involve:

  • Conducting exit interviews, analyzing data, and making recommendations for corrective action and continuous improvement
  • Responding to employee relation issues, including employee complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints
  • Identifying training needs for business units and individual leadership coaching needs
  • Maintaining in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees

**Requirements:**

Advanced English Level

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a similar field
